The Hawk & the Holly

February 17 @ 7:30 pm—10:00 pm

£18
  • « The Hidden Country
  • Finding Wild Mountain: The Epic of Parzival »

Join Dr Martin Shaw for an electrifying evening featuring a brand new telling of Gawain & the Green Knight. Martin has brooded on this magnificent story for over 20 years and is now finally ready to tell it. While feasting, King Arthur calls out for a new adventure, a door flies open and a knight entirely in green gallops in. Nothing for Gawain will be the same. Come join us for this winter tale of initiation, desire and mystery. Alongside it Shaw will also tell us of the Wild Woman of the Woods, Lady Ragnell, a formidable being who will weave her life to Gawain’s.

Tickets are available through Eventbrite here.

The evening will be held on the Dartington Estate near Totnes, Devon (UK) on Friday February 17. A day course will follow on Saturday February 18 –  Finding Wild Mountain, an exploration of the epic of Parzival.
