To Fall Beautifully from the Edge of the World: Rewilding Christianity

This will be an evening of stories and ideas from Dr Martin Shaw who will draw extensively from both poetic and biblical sources, addressing the fatigue and indifference many feel towards Christianity. There seems to be a deficit of imagination often present in its messaging. A God that is born a fugitive and dies an outlaw – then possessing the Tricksterish capacity to return – is worthy of a greater attention than we may be giving. Alongside myths and ideas, Dr Shaw will be drawing on his own engagement with the Galilee teacher, whom he calls “the Wildest God of all.”
